Dr. Julia Hyatt graduated from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2025. She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and played Division III soccer at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, where she received a B.S. in Biology. Dr Hyatt has always wanted to move back out west and experience living in the beautiful nature and scenery of the Rockies.
Dr. Hyatt lives with her partner, Kelsie, with whom she shares two cats with, Vegemite and Jumanji, as well as a 20-year-old Haflinger mare, Noel, and a rescue donkey, Sparrow. When she isn’t at Westside, she enjoys trail riding with the horses, hiking, skiing, cuddling the cats, sewing and exploring the sites of Colorado.
Dr. Hyatt is passionate about making the experience as comfortable and low stress as possible for you and your pets. She enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, including soft tissue surgery and dentistry, geriatric and palliative care, behavior medicine and internal medicine.
