Digital Radiography

Digital radiography (x-ray) captures black and white, two-dimensional images of the interior of your pet. It is used to evaluate a variety of pet health conditions such as:

Electrocardiography

An electrocardiogram (EKG) is a noninvasive diagnostic test that measures the electrical impulses of the heart. It can be used to diagnose pet ailments or to monitor the effectiveness of medications. It is commonly used in the evaluation of pet health conditions such as:

A veterinary ultrasound produces a 3-dimensional moving image of the interior of your pet. This noninvasive diagnostic technique is ideal for the evaluation of many of your pet’s internal organs, such as:

Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram is a specific type of ultrasound capable of visualizing the functionality of the heart, including the blood vessels and valves. An echocardiogram is a valuable diagnostic technique for evaluating a variety of pet health conditions, such as:

  • Heart murmur
  • Irregular heart beats
  • Cardiac performance
  • Blood clots
  • Tumors

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic test. It is used to identify abnormalities by insertion of a camera that can view live images within specific areas of the body. Endoscopy is an important surgical tool used for foreign body removal and biopsies from many areas inside the body. We have the experience to perform a variety of endoscopic procedures including:

  • Arthroscopy—joints
  • Colonoscopy—large intestine, including colon and rectum
  • Cystoscopy—bladder and urethra
  • Gastroscopy—esophagus, stomach, and first part of small intestine
  • Laparoscopy—abdominal organs
  • Rhinoscopy—nose and nasal cavity

Our newly updated on-site laboratory provides rapid and accurate diagnostic evaluations of blood, urine, and fecal material. We can also perform allergy blood testing for both environmental and food allergies.
